Greentech is the largest and most specialized construction company of football fields with natural turf in Cyprus. With a turf production unit, modern mechanical equipment, experienced greenkeepers and a team of executives with excellent know-how, it undertakes the construction, reconstruction and maintenance of football fields.
Greentech was founded in 1996 by Petros Georgiou excellent connoisseur of the nature and the development of natural turf and the process of construction of pitches with international standards. In 1996, the first stadium with UEFA standards was built in Cyprus, the GSP (Gymnastics Association of Pancypria) which to date is the only stadium that can host all European competitions in Cyprus. At the same time, Greentech is the first and only company in Cyprus that proceeds with the construction of Golf courses with the construction of Aphrodite Hills Resort in 2002, the installment of a nursery for the production of genetic material for Elea Estates Golf Club in 2009 etc.
With the production of quality turf, the company specializes in the supply and installation of ready-made turf in hotels, parks, residential gardens, etc.
The lawn production unit with a production capacity of 20,000 m2, available at any time of the year, is located in Geri. In the same area are housed the warehouses and the repair shop of Greentech machinery.
The company’s offices (administration, accounting) are housed at 33 Makariou in Latsia.
The staff of the company includes Experienced Greenkeepers, Supervisors, Experienced Engineer for the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment , Experienced Installers of irrigation systems supported by a Technical Director of Irrigation. Lolium Perenne: Seed of winter variety grass with thin leaf and deep green color suitable for replanting soccer fields, sports fields, hotels , parks and generally in areas that are used during the winter.
